OBITEK "Middle East United Technologies Education Consultancy R&D Industrial and Commercial Limited Corporation" has been initiated in 2004 as a spin-off company. In a very short time, the number of employees has been doubled with the participation of young scientists.

OBITEK is located inside the METU-KOSGEB Technology Development Center where the whole facility is in the main campus of Middle East Technical University(METU).
